We are delighted to announce that we are now open for face to face consultations.  Ideal Physio will continue to follow the advice given by the Government, Public Health England and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy in relation to the COVID-19 virus.  The health and safety of our clients is paramount, so we have therefore put a policy and system in place to minimise the risk of COVID-19.  

 

Before your appointment:

• We will contact you by telephone to discuss your presenting problem and then you will be offered the option of a virtual or face to face consultation.

• We will ask you to complete a COVID-19 screening questionnaire for any face to face consultation. 

 

On the day of your appointment the following precautions will be taken: 

​

• You will be advised to wear a face mask to your consultation, which is in line with government guidelines.  If you require a face mask, then this can be provided on the day of your appointment. 

• As advised by the Public Health England, full PPE will be worn by the physiotherapist.

• A temperature check will be taken on arrival.

• Hand sanitiser will be available when entering the building and in the clinic room.

• As much as possible social distancing will be maintained throughout the centre and clinic room.

• The clinic will be cleaned with antibacterial wipes before and after each session.

• More time will be allowed between sessions for cleaning to take place.

We would also suggest that you keep up to date with the current guidelines and advice surrounding COVID-19, as this is continually changing (https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus).
